Video Production, Radio, TV, and Internet
To boldly go where commercial radio and television fear to tread, creating exposure for talent, documenting and archiving all styles of music, and expanding the musical horizons of viewers.
In 1997, long before American Idol, Texas Music Cafe (TMC) began showcasing emerging songwriters of all styles to new audiences. Featuring artists including Willie Nelson, Jerry Jeff Walker, Terri Hendrix, Billy Joe Shaver, Johnny Gimble, Ruthie Foster, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Pat Green, Rick Trevinio, and others, the TMC series quickly gained popularity and was broadcast on more than 81 PBS stations throughout the country. Since 1997, no other radio, Internet, or television program has consistently provided as much variety, cultural diversity, and artistic flavor as the Texas Music Cafe. Since 1997 Our mission is to encourage and build up songwriters and performers of original music (Rising Stars and Lone Star Legends) through airplay on radio, TV, and internet.
